1 month old who is attached to my breast!?
My son just turned one month old and ever since he's been born, he is attached to my breast to the point of where he doesn't want to be off of it at all. It's instant screaming the second he is off. I try taking him off and putting him in his bassinet once he's asleep for 30 mins because he seems to be in a deep sleep but the second I pick him up, he screams. My husband and I have tried everything to get him to be somewhere else but my breasts but he screams and screams. Yes, he's is getting enough milk to the point of him throwing up. I can't leave my couch without him screaming even if he's weep, he miraculously wakes up and knows he's not at the breast the second he's off of it. I tried bottle feeding for a week but it was impossible. The second I put him back on the breast, he's intantly calm. We have started a bed time routine and we have been trying to get him to eep in his bassinet or just somewhere else but my breasts since we brought him home. Please help me if anyone knows how to get him to be off of my breast just for a little while, like maybe his bassinet, swing, carseat, etc. I've tried everything I can think of and have never heard of anyone having this problem wigh their children! My husband and I are new parents. We are learning as we go but just cannot seem to figure this one out. It's getting ridiculous.
