Can dreams predict the future in some way?

well i want to know if dreams can predict the future because ive had a few that make me wonder. well two happen to me when i was awake. i wasnt thinking much but just doing my math hw and i just stop for some reason and i look out my window and in head i start seeing this girl i was getting to know we talked ever day all day but at that point where i was doing my hw she hadnt crossed my mind at all. so im looking out my window and in my head i see that i go visit her as friends. then i see myself saying good bye to my family and a plane going to her place and something i could feel that said 2011 summer either june or july well i think july now. and i kept going back and forth to her place i got with her few years went by i asked her to marry me she said yes and we get married. four days later shes my gf and still is. also before i even got to know her well enough i had a feeling and still do that im going so does that dream or watever it was true that will happen to me did it predict some part of my future?
