Help with a mysterious gf?

ok a week ago i got busted with an oz of marijuana and i prayed i wouldnt get arrested and miraculously didnt. so i havnt smoked for two weeks and feel great. my gf said we should just be friends til i have everything together then she would be happy to get with me again. she used to tell me sweet things like im her everything, she thanks god for me. she said she doesnt plan on gettin with anyone cuz wat we have is important and says she knows i dnt like it but its for the best. i spent three hours writing her a poem and she said she loved it. on the other hand she put my good friends arm around her and asked if they would be cute and he said he couldnt and she said the same and that she was kidding. she always refers to him as her buddy and he was supposed to walk with her one day but it was raining and he was no where to be found so i walked her and kissed her in the rain ( i thought it was a good move ). my first q is was that an expression of feelings for him or simple play? she never contacts me i have to contact her. like that day i later sent her a text that said im always by your side even in the rain, never got a reply. sometimes she answers sometimes not. is that because shes tryin to help? should i try to talk to her or no? recently she cussed a girl out and said to stay away from her man and told another to quit texting her boo. and asked whos so and so? i told her an unnatractive "hefty" girl whos a friend. im so sad without being as close to her or thinking about her liking or talking to someone else. and she tells everyone were going to get back together ( a plus i guess). we still occasionally hold hands kiss say i love you etc. couple stuff. i just changed my facebook status to single should i have? and what she says is one thing but she acts so shady. weve gotten in a couple fights but she said shes willing to put them behind us and move forward. i dont think i can afford heart break. i would appreciate ladies opinions. and can you answer all my questions please? im so confused about her intentions and what i should do.
