How do i find my emails that miraculously disappeared?

I deleted 64 emails from my iPad and lost over 3K emails stored in my yahoo inbox in the process. None of the emails were found in my trash!! Everything just vanished. Very urgent cause my work emails are involved. Anyone with ideas how I can retrieve my emails?
