Please tell me does this sound unfair?

so for dance tryouts we got 3 expert level routines on Wednesday and tryouts would be friday. so on Wednesday at the work shop I was noticing girls who miraculously have all three down within 5 minutes of learning it, let me tell you that routine would take more time then that. come to find out they where all on dance last year and I believe they got the routines WAY before anyone else. so after tryouts the girls who knew the routine first all made it, and my friend who learned it the same time as the newbies and is way better didn't even make it. THIS TO ME IS SHADY. what should I do? I mean this girl tried out twice obviously she wont get on till the old dancers graduate.
